New Hampshire Avalanche Falls

New Hampshire Franconia Notch of the scenic White Mountain wilderness region provides plenty of inspiration and photography subjects. Fall foliage is a pristine time to capture its entire glory. There are multiple cascades, gorges, covered bridges and waterfalls along the way; this image here shows Avalanche Falls where the Flume Brook tumbles down 40 plus feet and becomes this beautiful and elegant waterfall. This New Hampshire waterfall cascades into the Flume Gorge, a natural gorge at the base of Mt. Liberty in Franconia Notch State Park. The walls of Conway granite rise to a height of up to 90 feet and are up to 20 feet apart.

Good light and happy photo making!
