There are may picturesque covered bridges in New England but the Sentinel Pine Bridge across the Pemigewasset River most be the most scenic one of them all. The setting is incredible and the New Hampshire scenery comes truly alive in autumn when the fall foliage shows all its colors. The Pemigewasset River tumbles down into The Pool through a series of cascades and small waterfalls. The Pool is a deep basin that was formed at the end of the ice age. It is 40 feet deep and 130 feet in diameter. This is a must see New Hampshire travel destination for outdoor enthusiasts and photographers alike!
