New England autumn is in full swing. Colors are glorious throughout the region and on my recent photo tour to the White Mountains of New Hampshire I stopped at the Flume Gorge. This scenic area in the Franconia Notch State Park has many nature attractions and the Table Rock area is one of them. The rushing waters of the Flume Brook have exposed the Conway granite rock 500 feet long by 75 feet wide. The cascades along the way make for exceptional photography subjects. Bring your tripod and aim for long exposure times to capture the flowing waters as a silky white stream conveying the flow of the brook water. In this image I incorporated a large rock covered in autumn leaves as a prominent foreground object while composing by the rule of thirds.
Good light and happy photo making!
Juergen
