Above the spectacular Flume Gorge and Avalanche Falls in the Franconia Notch State Park of the White Mountains in New Hampshire there is a small wood bridge that crosses the Flume Brook. Upstream that bridge the waters cascades over multiple rocks and during my visit most of them were covered with fall foliage. In this intimate close up of an autumn scenery I equipped my camera with a Canon 24-70 mm lens and zoomed in on the red autumn leaves. I composed the image so that the Flume Brook provides the background of the photograph. A polarizing filter extended the exposure time a little bit, but more importantly eliminated unwanted glare on the leaves and rock formation while saturating colors of this Leaf Macro.
Good light and happy photo making!
