A while back I used a family trip to the Apple Retail Store on Boylston Street in Boston to capture an abstraction of the glass staircase in side. I envisioned a picture of the staircase for quite some time but never got around to stop by or make the effort to drive over in order to take a photo. This time I had my camera handy and I composed an abstract architecture image from the different elements of the stairway. I composed around the many different lines and shapes. During my routine post processing workflow I lightened up the image a little bit, adjusted contrast and color saturation to how I remember the real thing before sharpening the final image of Apple Store.
Good light and happy photo making!
