Last week I photographed another Boston historic landmark,
The Boston Fish Pier. This Boston waterfront landmark in the buzzing Seaport district is one of the oldest
continuously working fish piers in the United States of America. The historic
Boston Fish Pier is in operation since 1914 and is now owned by Massport since
1972. The Port of Boston waterfront landmark provides berthing space for regional
fishermen and is home to the fish auction. To today fishing and fish processing
remains its primary function and the facility houses companies dedicated to the
processing and shipment of seafood. This Boston Photography image shows fishing boats docked
at the Boston Fish Pier photographed minutes before sunrise.
Camera settings were similar f/11, 13 seconds at ISO100.
During routine post processing steps I removed dust spots, minimally adjusted
lighting, contrast and color saturation before sharpening the final photo of
Boston Fish Pier.
Good light
and happy photo making!
