Boston Fan Pier has become a prime skyline photography destination over the last few years for many photographers. It's one of the best Boston photography locations and I love coming back here Photographing the Skyline. In this latest picture of Boston I composed around the familar Boston downtown cityscape landmarks and included the monumental, aerial sculpture "As If It Were Already There" created by Janet Echelman as an additional eye catcher.
This skyline photo of Boston was captured on one of the last days of summer on a beautiful, clear night at twilight. Aperture was set to f/11 providing a 25 second shutter speed at ISO100. Cleaning up the photography image is part of my routine post processing as well as adjusting lighting, contrast, color saturation before sharpening the final photograph of Boston Calling.
Good light and happy photo making!
Juergen
