Behind the Image: Bunker Hill Bridge And EF Education First Headquarter

Friday morning we were blessed with an amazing sunrise in Boston. I head out early in the wee hours and decided to explore my photography blessings at a familar location. If you regularly check out my photo blog you probably noticed that I frequently visit the top deck of the parking garage at the Museum of Science in Boston. It provides convenient and easy access. It also provides an accessible and elevated view of the city and in the opposite direction of the Zakim bridge or Bunker Hill bridge as people from Charlestown and Boston like to call it.

EF Education First completed a new headquarter building recently. It's an interesting architecture gem located next to the Zakim Bridge and Paul Revere park. The Education First headquarters is designed to look like a massive waterfall, with a jagged column of glass cascading along the middle of its facade. The building is inspired by the nearby Charles River.

The Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge across the Charles River in Boston, Massachusetts. The bridge is named after Leonard Zakim who was a civil rights leader. The Zakim bridge was built as part of the Boston's Big Dig and it represents the worlds widest cable-stayed bridge. The Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital is a rehabilitation hospital located in Boston. It is an official teaching hospital for Harvard Medical School Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the main campus of the Spaulding Rehabilitation Network. Spaulding is the official rehabilitation hospital of the NFL New England Patriots football team of the National Football League.
During post processing I adjusted lighting, contrast and color saturation before removing dust spots and sharpening the final image of Bunker Hill Bridge And Education First Headquarter.

Good light and happy photo making!
