Wakodahatchee Wetlands west of Delray Beach in Palm Beach County is a pristine birding and bird photography location in South Florida. When I parked the car I heard a lot of bird voices coming from the area. I walked up the boardwalk and when I got my first glimpse of this treasure, I was just blown away by the amount of nesting Everglades Storks. While making my rounds along the boardwalk I good close looks of the nesting birds and many other species like Great Blue Herons, Green Herons, Egrets, Anhingas, Purple Gallinules and Tri-Colored Herons. What a great place for an outdoor adventure combined with fabulous nature photography opportunities.

Good light and happy photo making!
