Autumn is a pristine time for outdoor photography. This year was no different and on my last photography tour to White Mountains New Hampshire I mad a pit stop at gorgeous Profile Falls. This scenic New England waterfall is located off
NH Route 3A near Bristol region. Surrounded by fall foliage peak colors I climbed
to the bottom of the waterfall to capture the massive stream of water across Profile Falls.
A
polarizing filter eliminated glare on rocks and leaves while also
providing a long shutter speed that allowed the ethereal flow of water. Aperture was set to f/22 for Depth of Field and a long exposure time of 3 seconds at ISO 100.
During
routine post processing I cleaned up the picture off imperfections and dust spots, minimally
adjusted contrast, lighting and color saturation before sharpening the
final image of Tumbling New Hampshire Profile Waterfall.
Good light and happy photo making!
Juergen
