Cape Ann and Rockport, MA never disappoint; the seascape always makes for spectacular photography at any time of the year. During my last visit I stopped at Ocean Drive and after sunset passed I was able to capture the coastal gem in the glow of twilight. The night light was amazing; revealing
lots of texture, nuances and character of this beautiful stretch of
nature at the Massachusetts North Shore. I used frozen tidal pools in the foreground to lead the viewer into the picture and to the horizon and the Twin Lights on Thatcher Island.
Aperture
in this image was f/11 with an exposure time of 20 seconds at ISO200.
During routine image processing in Photoshop I removed dust spots, adjusted lighting,
contrast and color saturation before sharpening the final North of Boston photography image.
Good light and happy photo making!
