Beacon Hill and Boston Skyline Night Photography

The other week I went out to photograph the Boston Skyline from Memorial Drive in Cambridge. I had a view in mind that was straight on and landmarks such as the John Hancock building and Prudential building are rather isolated from the rest of the skyline buildings and do not overlap with each other. The aperture in this pic was f/5.6 providing a 8 second exposure time at ISO100. In the second image I used the boats of the Charles River Yacht Club and their reflections as a suitable foreground feature and to add interest to the photograph. The aperture of the second photograph was f/5.6 providing a 30 second exposure time at ISO100. Over the years I mastered twilight photography and compiled my most valuable photo tips in this related photography blog post where I provide you with Skyline Photography Tips ... hope you enjoy them and find them useful.
